Hunt Scheduling


Here at Low Country Hunting Lodge we try to make the scheduling of your hunt and paying for your hunt as easy as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Date Availability & Reserving Dates

  • To check date availability or to reserve dates for a hunt at Low Country Hunting Lodge, please give us a call at 803-942-3800.​


  • In order to reserve dates for a hunt at Low Country Hunting Lodge, we require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT per hunter for all hunts.

Reservation Letter

  • Upon the completion of your phone conversation with Low Country Hunting Lodge regarding the reservation of desired dates for your hunt. We will immediately send out a “Reservation Letter” via e-mail. This reservation letter outlines the dates you are wanting to reserve, the number of hunters in your party, the total cost of the hunt and the deposit amount required to reserve those dates for your hunt.

  • Once you receive this e-mail with the reservation letter attached, you now have 14 Days to return a signed copy of the reservation letter, the required 50% non-refundable deposit, a signed copy of the LCHL Rules and Regulations and a signed copy of the LCHL Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnification Agreement, etc.. in order to confirm and secure those dates. These signed documents and 50% deposit can be mailed to Low Country Hunting Lodge at the below listed address or the process can be expedited by e-mailing the signed documents to LCHL and paying the deposit via credit card over the phone with Low Country Hunting Lodge (see accepted payment forms below).

                If you are reserving hunt dates less than 30 days out a credit card deposit will be required (see accepted payment forms below)

  • Please understand due to limited date availability Low Country Hunting Lodge will hold cannot hold dates and will not consider your hunt as booked until your signed reservation letter and full 50% deposit are received!

                If LCHL does not receive your signed documents and full deposit within the 14 days we will assume you have decided not                                   to book the hunt and those proposed dates will now be available to anyone that calls LCHL.

Confirmation Letter

  • Upon the receipt of your signed documents and 50% deposit. Low Country Hunting Lodge will immediately send out a "Confirmation Letter" via e-mail. This confirmation letter outlines the dates you now have booked, the number of hunters in your party, arrival and departure day/time, total cost of the hunt, the deposit paid and the remaining balance owed upon arriving at Low Country Hunting Lodge for your scheduled hunt. We also include rescheduling/cancellation information, hunting license and permit information, what's included in the hunt, optional game processing fees, a list of additional items to pack, directions to the lodge, etc..


  • The remaining 50% Balance Due for your hunt is to be paid upon arrival at the Low Country Hunting Lodge and will be collected during the check-in process. You will not be allowed to hunt until the balance due is paid (see accepted payment forms below).

Hunt Rescheduling

  • If you hunt is More Than 60 Days out from your arrival date.

           - Your hunt can be rescheduled.

           - The new dates are subject to availability and must be within the same hunting season.

  • If you hunt is 30 to 60 Days out from your arrival date.

           - Your hunt can be rescheduled.

           - There will be a rescheduling fee of $250 per hunter. 

           - The new dates are subject to availability and must be within the same hunting season.

  • You hunt is Less Than 30 Days out from your arrival date.

           - Hunts cannot be rescheduled!

Hunt Cancellations/Travel Insurance

  • All deposits on cancelled hunts will not be refunded for any reason and we strongly recommend our hunters look into purchasing travel insurance. For example, if you have an unexpected circumstance, such as a death in the family, medical emergency, illness or loss of income which causes the need to cancel your hunt and lose your deposit. This travel insurance policy will help recover the money that was spent towards the hunt. This insurance is very reasonably priced and there are many companies that offer plans specifically catered toward hunting trips. One of these companies is Travel Guard. Accepted Forms of Payment

  • Accepted forms of payment are Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check or Credit Card. 

                Note: 3.75% processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa, Discover and                      American Express.
