LOW COUNTRY HUNTING LODGE

Here at Low Country Hunting Lodge we try to make the scheduling of your hunt and paying for your hunt as easy as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Date Availability & Reserving Dates

  • To check date availability or to reserve dates for a hunt, please give us a call at 803-942-3800.​

                - While we can still occasionally accept a last-minute hunt. Please be aware many of our prime dates are being reserved anywhere                     from 3 months to 1 year in advance.

Confirmation Letter

  • Upon the completion of your phone conversation with LCHL staff regarding the reservation of the desired dates and number of hunters for the hunt. LCHL will immediately send out via e-mail a "Confirmation Letter" to each hunter in the party. This confirmation letter outlines the following:

                - Type of hunt you are reserving.

                - Dates you are reserving.

                - Number of hunters in your party.

                - Total cost of the hunt.

                - Required Deposit Amount or Balance Due per hunter.

                - Date the Required Deposit Amount or Balance Due is due by.

  • Once this e-mail with the confirmation letter attached is sent, you now have 3 days to:

                - Sign and return the required documents via e-mail to Low Country Hunting Lodge.

                - Pay the required deposit amount or balance due to Low Country Hunting Lodge via debit card or credit card.​​

Deposits

  • In order to reserve your spot and hunt dates at Low Country Hunting Lodge, we require the full deposit or balance to be paid via debit card or credit card within 3 days of scheduling the hunt.

                - If your hunt is over $1,000, we require a 50% deposit.

                - If your hunt is under $1,000, we require a $500 deposit.

                - If your hunt is a 2-day $500 hunt, we require the balance to be paid in full instead of a deposit.

  • All deposits or balances paid are non-refundable.

  • Please understand due to limited date availability, if Low Country Hunting Lodge does not receive a hunters signed documents, full deposit or balance due within the 3 day period. LCHL will assume that hunter has decided not schedule their hunt. Their spot and hunt dates will now become available to any hunter that calls LCHL looking to schedule a hunt.

                - If you do not pay your full deposit or balance due on time, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A SPOT RESERVED OR A HUNT SCHEDULED

                - It does not matter if your buddies have already paid their deposits or balances for the hunt. If they paid their deposits or balances                     on time, they have a spot reserved and a hunt scheduled you don't. 

Remaining Balance

  • The remaining balance due for your hunt is to be paid upon arrival at the Low Country Hunting Lodge and will be collected during the check-in process. You will not be allowed to hunt until the balance is paid.

 

Hunt Rescheduling

  • If the hunt is More Than 60 Days out from your arrival date.

                - The hunt can be rescheduled.

                - The new dates are subject to availability and must be within the same hunting season.

  • If the hunt is 30 to 60 Days out from your arrival date.

                - The hunt can be rescheduled.

                - There will be a rescheduling fee of $250 per hunter. 

                - The new dates are subject to availability and must be within the same hunting season.

  • If the hunt is Less Than 30 Days out from your arrival date.

                - The hunt cannot be rescheduled and will be forfeited!

Hunt Cancellations/Travel Insurance

  • If you cancel your hunt, all deposits or balances paid will not be refunded for any reason. We strongly recommend our hunters look into purchasing travel insurance. For example, if you have an unexpected circumstance, such as a death in the family, medical emergency, illness or loss of income which causes the need to cancel your hunt and lose your deposit. This travel insurance policy will help recover the money that was spent towards the hunt. This insurance is very reasonably priced and there are many companies that offer plans specifically catered toward hunting trips. One of these companies is Travel Guard. Information regarding Travel Guard can be found on their website www.travelguard.com.

Accepted Forms of Payment

  • Deposits or Balances Due are Debit Card or Credit Card only. 

                - Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

                - Note: 3.75% convenience fee will be added to all debit card and credit card transactions.

  • Remaining Balances Due when arriving at LCHL for your hunt are Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Debit Card or Credit Card.

                - Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

                - Note: 3.75% convenience fee will be added to all debit card and credit card transactions.

                - Please make all cashiers checks and money orders payable to: Low Country Hunting Lodge

                - NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
