HUNT SCHEDULING

LOW COUNTRY HUNTING LODGE

Here at Low Country Hunting Lodge we try to make the scheduling of your hunt and paying for your hunt as easy as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Date Availability & Reserving Dates

  • A list of available dates are listed on the calendar under the Available Hunt Dates tab on this website.

                - While we still can occasionally accept a last-minute booking, please be aware many of our prime hunting                        dates are being reserved anywhere from 3 months to 1 year in advance.

Booking the Hunt

  • Once you have decided on the dates. Please call Low Country Hunting Lodge at 803-842-1155 to schedule your hunt.

Hunt Deposit​​

  • In order to reserve your individual spot and hunt dates at Low Country Hunting Lodge, each hunter is required to pay a $500.00 non-refundable deposit.

                - The deposit required per spot is $500.00 + a debit/credit card processing fee of  3.0%  which                                equals $15.00.

                - This brings the total deposit required per hunter to $515.00.

  • All deposits paid or balances paid are non-refundable!

                - All deposits paid or balances paid will not be refunded for any reason.

                - All deposits paid or balances paid will not be put toward a future hunt.

                - All deposits paid or balances paid will not be put toward another hunters balance.

                - We strongly recommend our hunters look into purchasing travel insurance to help your recover some if not                      all of your loss.

Hunt Confirmation Package

  • Upon the completion of your phone conversation with LCHL staff regarding the reservation of the desired hunt dates and number of hunters in the party:

 

                1) LCHL will immediately e-mail each hunter via Adobe Sign a link to the "Hunt Confirmation Letter".

                                - There will be a link on this email. The client must click the link to open a PDF of the "Hunt                                                 Confirmation Letter" and it walk you through where to sign and initial on the document. Then                                             once all the required spots are signed or initialed the document will show a send button. Once                                         the send button is clicked both LCHL and the client will received a signed copy via email.

                                -  Please note that once this email has been sent by LCHL, the client will have only 3 days to                                               complete the required hunt confirmation letter, or the link to the PDF will be disabled and your                                            hunt reservation will be canceled.

 

                2) Upon receipt of the signed Hunt Confirmation Letter, LCHL will also send each hunter an invoice via email                      from quickbooks@notification.intuit.com for the deposit and for the balance due.

                3) The "Invoice" for the deposit is due by the date listed on the "Hunt Confirmation Letter".

                                -  To make this payment all you have to do is hit the "Review and Pay" button on the email from                                            quickbooks@notification.intuit.com and then follow the instructions.

                                - Again, please understand due to limited date availability, if a hunter does not pay the deposit                                            within the 3 day period LCHL will assume that hunter has decided not book their hunt. That spot                                      and dates will now become available again on our hunt calander.

                4) The "Invoice" for the balance is due 10 days prior to your arrival for your scheduled hunt.

 

                                -  To make this payment all you have to do is hit the "Review and Pay" button on the email from                                            quickbooks@notification.intuit.com and then follow the instructions.

                                -  If the invoice is not paid prior to your arrival for the hunt, we will assume you are not coming                                             and put the spot back up as available to any hunter that calls.

Accepted Forms of Payment for Deposits and Balances Due

  • All Deposits due and Balances due must be paid through the QuickBooks Invoice "Review and Pay" button you will receive via the emailed invoice.

                - Note: 3.0%  debit/credit card processing fee will be added to all invoice amounts.

 

Accepted Forms of Payment at LCHL during your hunt.

  • Skinning fees must be paid in cash only.

                - LCHL does not carry cash on hand so please have the exact amount in cash.​

Hunt Rescheduling

  • LCHL does not reschedule hunts for any reason except if it is caused by us not being able to be open for business.

  • If you would like to reschedule your hunt we require you to pay for a new hunt or you can find someone to take your spot.

                - Why you ask?

                - When a hunter calls to say they want to reschedule their hunt, the hunter is actually booking a second hunt                    on different dates, not actually rescheduling their original hunt.

                - LCHL turns away other hunters for that would have booked your dates as well as spends money preparing                       for the first hunt.

                - Now we would have to spend money once again preparing for the hunters second scheduled hunt as well                        as loose out on the money from the first hunt scheduled.

                - Would you want to spend money preparing for something two different times only to get paid for it once?

    

Hunt Cancellations/No Shows

  • All deposits paid or balances paid will not be refunded for any reason.

  • All deposits paid or balances paid will not be put toward a future hunt.

  • All deposits paid or balances paid will not be put toward another hunters deposit or balance due.

Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend our hunters look into purchasing travel insurance. For example, if you have an unexpected circumstance, such as a pandemic, a death in the family, medical emergency, illness or loss of income which causes the need to cancel your hunt and lose your deposit/balance paid. This travel insurance policy will help recover money that was spent towards the hunt. This insurance is very reasonably priced and there are many companies that offer plans specifically catered toward hunting trips. One of these companies is Travel Guard.
